Macon’s Big Bike Ride – A Big Success for a Big Cause!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first annual Macon’s Big Bike Ride! Seeing the streets filled with over 150 enthusiastic bicyclists was an inspiring reminder of the strength and support within Macon's biking community. Together, we made a powerful statement for safer, more bike-friendly streets, and we couldn’t have done it without each of you!

Making a Statement for Safer Streets

Having this level of support from the community was monumental. Each cyclist who came out helped show Macon that our streets should be accessible and safe for everyone—no matter how they choose to get around. Biking isn’t just a mode of transportation; it’s a way of connecting communities, improving health, and reducing our environmental footprint. Seeing so many of you come together demonstrated that Macon is ready for safer, more connected streets, and this event brought us one step closer to achieving that vision. Every rider was a voice in support of change, a part of the momentum pushing for better infrastructure and respect for all road users.

With your help, we raised over $8,000, which will go directly toward making Macon’s streets more accessible and safe for everyone. We’re beyond grateful for the generous support of our sponsors and the dedication of our ambassadors who championed this event. Their contributions and enthusiasm helped make the ride not only a memorable experience but a meaningful step forward for biking advocacy in Macon.
