Come join the Fringed Campion Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society and Bike Walk Macon on Saturday, September 21st, as we partner to host a bike tour of garden projects in downtown Macon!
On this ride, you'll have an opportunity to learn more about projects supporting native plant and community gardens in the downtown Macon area, meet the stewards who maintain them, and learn more about how you can get involved. Whether you'd like to learn more about gardening, native plants, and community projects in downtown Macon, you don't want to miss this ride!
The ride will start at 8AM at the Bike Walk Macon office (830 High Street), and include stops at multiple sites throughout downtown Macon. We expect to finish around 10AM. Participants should bring a bike, helmet, and water. This will be a free, slow-paced bicycle ride for all ages and skill levels. The bike route is about 7 miles long.
