Bike Walk Macon is partnering with Georgia Bikes to offer a specialized POST-certified training program designed to equip officers with the knowledge, skills, and tools to enhance the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. This comprehensive training will cover:
Understanding the unique challenges faced by cyclists and pedestrians.
Enforcing traffic laws effectively.
Investigating crashes involving pedestrians and cyclists.
Conducting safe and efficient traffic stops.
Officers will receive two hours of POST credits upon completing the training.
