Are you ready for Macon’s quirkiest bicycling and walking event? Grab your gaudiest green gear and get ready to get silly on Saturday, March 13th, 2021 with Bike Walk Macon. It is our pleasure to invite you to join us for the 2021 Shamrock ‘n’ Ride: Scavenger Hunt edition - a super fun, challenging, and family-friendly event.
Bike Walk Macon’s annual Shamrock ‘n’ Ride event is a fundraiser to support its mission to make bicycling and walking a safe and convenient option for transportation and recreation for everyone in Macon-Bibb County.
WHAT IS IT?
You bring your bicycle or walking shoes and friends, and we will give you a map of the scavenger hunt area. On the back, you will find more than 50 destinations, activities, and challenges to find and complete within a 2.5 hour time frame. You will design your own route and ride (or walk) with your team (at your chosen pace!) within a 5-mile radius of downtown searching for the objects, tackling feats of strength and stupidity, and learning about both iconic and obscure parts in Macon!
WALKING TEAMS ARE NOW WELCOME!
Sign up as a BICYCLING TEAM of 2 or 3-4 people, or a WALKING TEAM of 2-4 people. If you do not have a team, we can assign you one.
The challenge will kick off at Fall Line Brewing Co. (567 Plum St.) at 9:30 am. The scavenger hunt will take place from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm and end back at Fall Line Brewing Co. with a light lunch and awards ceremony.
