WHAT IS PLAY STREETS MACON?
Play Streets Macon is a community-driven initiative that empowers residents to temporarily close their streets to through traffic, creating a safe space for play, connection, and family-friendly activities. The program is inspired by Bike Walk Macon's popular Open Streets Macon initiative. Play Streets is a fantastic opportunity to reclaim the streets and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with your neighbors!
Neighborhood-led activities include:
- Bumpin' Tunes from Soopa Dave
- Interactive Activities + Lawn Games
- Face Painting + Sidewalk Chalk Art
- Outdoor Living Room
