Let's kick off those New Year's resolutions together! Join Bike Walk Macon and Walk with a Doc on Saturday, January 6, 2024, for a slow-paced health walk around Amerson River Park.

Registration is at Amerson River Park at 8:45AM, and the walk will begin at 9:00AM. This walk is free to attend. Wear appropriate footwear and bring a water bottle.

Walk with a Doc is a walking program that meets every 1st Saturday for anyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare provider, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking.

Directions:
We will meet at Amerson River Park at 2600 Riverview Road. We will be set up at the AGL Pavilion right next to the playground. Once you have entered the park you will come to a roundabout. Proceed through the roundabout to the second exit. The second exit will lead you to the great lawn. Take the next right and you will see the pavilion on your left.
