Join us for a community screening of “Macon Transportation”, a Mercer Journalism student-produced short documentary created in partnership with Bike Walk Macon. This film explores how transportation shapes daily life in Macon and reflects on the progress made over the past decade to create safer, more accessible streets for everyone.

Through interviews with city officials, advocates, and everyday commuters, "Macon Transportation" shares a range of perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing Macon - and the work being done to address them.

Following the screening, stick around for a Q&A session with students and community members featured in the film.

This event is free and open to the public, and it marks the official kickoff of Bike Walk Month - a month-long celebration of biking, walking, and active transportation in Macon-Bibb.
