Back on the Bike - Adult Bike Class

  • Luther Williams Field 225 Willie Smokie Glover Drive Macon, GA, 31201 United States (map)

Back on the Bike is the second course in Bike Walk Macon's three-class beginner's bicycling course for adults. This class is for novice bicyclists or for those who may have tried riding a bike a few times, but are not comfortable balancing, starting and stopping, shifting gears, and scanning the environment while pedaling. Students will learn bike handling which includes balancing, pedaling and steering control along with teaching several emergency hazard avoidance techniques. Students will finish the class with the skills to advance to "Level 3: Urban Confidence" in May.

Students may sign up for the three-class course or individual classes.

The Details
This class is FREE to attend for adults 18 and up, but please pre-register at backonthebikeclass.eventbrite.com to help us prepare for the class.
