Join us for Macon Bike Party's Summer Send-Off Social on Thursday, September 12th! Let’s say goodbye to summer in style—wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt and meet at the Bike Walk Macon office as we wave farewell to the heat and embrace the fall. Our first official ride Party Marshal, Erin Keller, will keep the energy high as we cruise through downtown. We'll finish our ride at The Rose Room (378 Second Street) to socialize with fellow bike enthusiasts.

Macon Bike Party is a FREE, slow-paced community bicycle ride for people of all ages and skill levels. Enjoy our great city and its neighborhoods from a unique perspective.

Registration begins at the Bike Walk Macon office (830 High Street) at 6:00 pm. Before the ride, we’ll share city-cycling safety tips. Wheels are down at 6:15 pm and ends at The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) by 8:00 pm.

Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point. All ages are welcome. A complete route map will be available on the Facebook event page 24 hours before the ride. Remember to bring a helmet. We'll have FREE Bike Walk Macon lights, snacks, and water.

  • Registration starts at 6:00 PM and all rides will now take off at 6:15 PM.

  • The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) is our new official after-party spot, where riders can gather and socialize after the ride. We'll finish our fall season rides at the Rose Room, so stay a while and make new friends! Plus, Bike Party attendees get a 10% discount on their tabs!

 HOW WE RIDE

Here’s how we make Macon Bike Party a safe and positive place for riders, drivers, pedestrians, and the community.

  1. Stay in the right lane. NEVER ride on the sidewalk. NEVER ride against oncoming traffic.

  2. Ride straight, ride predictably.

  3. Stop at red lights and crosswalks.

  4. Leave nothing and no one behind.

  5. Ride SMART! It’s illegal and dangerous to ride a bicycle inebriated.

  6. Make friends and have fun.

Remember, you are responsible for your own behavior. All participants ride at their own risk.
