Shamrock 'n' Ride 2024: A Day of Fun, Adventure, and Community Spirit

This past Saturday, March 30, 2024, Macon was buzzing with excitement as Shamrock 'n' Ride took over the streets! With perfect weather, participants embarked on a thrilling scavenger hunt across Downtown, Midtown, Greenwood Bottom, and the Industrial District. It was a day filled with laughter, challenges, and exploration.

With 55 enthusiastic participants venturing over 75 locations and challenges, Shamrock 'n' Ride showcased the vibrant spirit of our community. From seeking hidden treasures to conquering feats of strength and absurdity, participants explored a 5-mile radius of Downtown Macon in just 2.5 hours, aiming to collect as many points as possible. Memorable challenges included collaborative art pieces at Triangle Arts and ArtSpace Macon, navigating a doggy obstacle course at Barks 'n' Brews, perfecting fancy bows at Petals, Flowers, and Market, and deciphering clues about iconic Macon locations.
